Fragakis Georgios

Fragkakis Georgios MD, FEBPRM is a Physiatrist. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Asklipieio Hospital in Voula. He holds the European title of Physiatrist and has a diploma in Medical Acupuncture after successfully passing examinations under the auspices of the International Council of Medical Acupuncture.

He served as the Scientific Director at the Mediterranean Rehabilitation Center in Loutraki for five years. The doctor has overseen the care of many patients in both inpatient and day-care following cerebrovascular accidents, neurological diseases, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, and orthopedic injuries. He is the responsible Physiatrist for inpatient and day-care rehabilitation at the Theseus Rehabilitation Center in Athens. He has extensive experience in intra-articular injections as well as BOTOX injections for spasticity.

He has attended the Pain Management training program of the Hellenic Society of Anesthesiology, the mechanical diagnosis and treatment of spinal and limb disorders using the McKenzie method, and the therapeutic use of Magnetic Stimulator (TESLA 3) and SHOCK WAVE. He performs duties as a sports physician (Soccer, Basketball, Handball, and Water Polo). He specializes in Electromyography, Acupuncture, Musculoskeletal pain, Intra-articular injections, and BOTOX injections.

Finally, he participates in numerous conferences, seminars, and workshops with the goal of continuously updating his knowledge of developments in his field.
